In this paper we will report the result of the study program of "Development of laser remote analysis for next generation nuclear fuel and applied study by MOX sample". Using the experimental conditions found in the preliminary study for uranium and some lanthanide elements, we start ed to perform spectroscopic study for plutonium/uranium mixed samples. As the result, we measured absorption spectra and calibration curves of atomic plutonium so that we demonstrated the feasibility of this method for the remote analysis of next-generation fuel.
